A day at the dog’s meadow

The dog’s meadow. Astonishing fun. It’s the year 2018 in the Hildener Heide in western Germany.   The title “dog’s meadow” is not quite right. It implies a fenced area, which is specially designed for dogs. This actually once existed Read more

We’re taking you on a walk at Lister Ellbogen on t We’re taking you on a walk at Lister Ellbogen on the Island of Sylt.
Lister Ellbogen is the northernmost tip of Sylt and also of entire Germany. It is a wild, untamed and very isolated peninsula that you can hike around for hours, with extreme currents and surf. The only people we meet are sheep. The sheep met wolves, as they say. We were each right. #vagabondogs #dogsonadventure #syltliebe #offleashlife #beachdogs
We are taking you on a walk to the highest point o We are taking you on a walk to the highest point on Sylt, the Red Cliff & the 50 metre high Uwe Dune. Due to the mixture of clay and sand with a high iron content, the approximately 30 metre high cliffs, which are a relic from the Ice Age, are coloured in a beautiful deep reddish brown. On the narrow dune path at the top, which runs directly along the edge of the cliffs, we have to keep our dogs on a leash because it is really steep going downhill, but the view is spectacular. Every year, the cliffs lose a few centimetres of substance due to the massive Atlantic surf and strong winds. We are glad that we can still experience them in this blink of an eye that we spend here on Earth. #vagabondogs #sylt #dogsonadventure #offtheleash #dogsinnature
